Don't actually know but i did about 30 miles with mine flashing, so there is still a little more in there :)

I think 3-4 litres but don't hold me to that.

I fill up when my light comes on; never takes more than 13 litres, so given the SV tank is 17 litres, you got about 4 litres left. An SV can do 10 miles to the litre, so thats 30-40 miles of riding to find a petrol station

There's definately a problem with mine then, as I get about 10 miles when the light starts doing a Disco.

On my K3 naked I managed 30 miles and then chickened out. The light never flashed on that one, it just came on and stayed on. The K5S I have never got close to running out on yet, but that light flashes at me. I presume it then goes into permanently on mode when the fuel has dropped to "I'm about to cut out and leave you powerless in the outside lane alongside that artic" level.
