hi guys just bought me self a sexy SV pics to follow hehe

and have a couple of questions

first ive got a blue flame exhaust and wish to fit it but was told i have to cut it but i don't know where to cut the original so if someone could enlighten me on that thanks

also i wont to purchase some motoslider but not sure where they actually fit as its a full faired one there is a hole there with a small bracket at the back but if i remove the bracket etc and fitted the motosliders the hole doesn't line up with and of the frame mounts so i don't know how it would fit em basically, do they float or go through the frame?

thanks guys

phil

The motosliders run through the frames main engine mount bolt...http://www.motosliders.com/images/ms1.JPG

Basically you need to cut 45mm back from the weld on the exhaust under the foot peg...

I'm sure its 50mm back from the weld on the blueflame, but I can't remember and I havent got the fitting instructions for mine anymore.

Did you not get any instructions with your exhaust ? If not give Blueflame a ring and ask them.

Varies between 45mm and 50mm with the relevant companies, even the ones that use the same components and link pipes!

Try this link (http://www.twobros.com/Cust_Service/Install_Inst/005-8904x_Inst.pdf) for info, it for a curvy but you'll get the idea if you have a pointy!

Be careful of the swing arm though, I protected mine with some carbaord - had to drink the alchoholic contents first though and yeah 45mm although I think there was plenty of leaway
