Well, it's been 9 weeks since I have ridden a motorcycle. i come onto the .org every day & look at all the people enjoying thier bike "fix" & think "why can't that be me?"
I have to go outside & sit on my trackbike & dream :smt087 I need to let my frustration out.

I WANT A ROAD BIKE. I WANT TO GO FOR A RIDE. I'M SICK OF SITTING IN THE HOUSE DAY AFTER DAY.

Thank you, I feel slightly better now.

Poor Mr C, you have my deepest sympathies. We had just 4 weeks out at the start of the year for shock re-building and various other things and by the end of those 4 weeks I was climbing the walls.

can you not get a day MOT for your track bike so you can use it on the road without lights and stuff?

I don't know all the ins and outs but its the only thing I can think off without buying another bike.

Ah right, didn't realise the frustration was injury, not lack of roadbike fed :silent:

The only words of consolation I can offer to you Mr C is just think how much more frustrated you`d feel if we were in the middle of a nice summer heatwave... by the time the good weather comes along you`ll hopefully be back out there. Keep your chin up

Cheers Claire, I will have my "new" bike, fingers crossed next week, so it's something to look forward to.
Plus i am off to Rugby a week on Monday to do my ACU training course for racing, so things are on the up :)

I thought I might have been fixed quicker than this, but, I'm getting there slowly but surely :) Thank you

Well, at least you have the weather on your side. It's rubbish so you wouldn't want to go out on your bike anyway.

Fingers crossed you'll be right as rain in time for summer.

If last years summer is anything to go by, rain will be the right word :p.
I took my track bike up & down the entry at the back of our houses yesterday afternoon, not far, but what a wonderful feeling to be back in the saddle.
Took a little bit of working out how to get on it (I still can't really lift my leg high enough), but I have now got it sussed :cool::)
I think the neighbours might start getting a bit upset, cos I might have to have another go, and another, and another :)
