Used to have Motad stuff in the "Old Days" on a few of my bikes. Same as Kwak really, good quality stuff & years of experience. They are doing some cheap sell off deals atm if I remember rightly

there sports end cans are venom arnt they? the only bad point i see with them is the baffle cone fits in the rear of the can so its not easy to take out and re fit, other than that all seems good :)

thats right, the baffle cone fitting is tricky. You'll need to take the end can off and fish it out with a coat hanger, took me 15 min. But for looks, sound and price point (£61), its worth the trouble :smt023

I was a bit surprised how fast the spring mounts rusted up... one or two days of rain. The "venom" sticker is coming off too. But hey, I'm in Dublin. I'll just have to stay on top of the cleaning ;). Otherwise, it looks pretty good.

And it does sound great. I pitched the baffle, but then again, we don't have any MOT!

Dude, all you need to do is take it off and 'bang' it on the ground ... momentum does the rest for you ... the little cone comes flying out!! 8)

oh I see, you can't split the can from the link pipe ...

Have you tried a blow torch!? 8)

Use a blow torch ... the idea is that you will be heating the link pipe and it will expand - if you get the heat in there quick enough before the heat travels to the pipe inside (expanding that), you will break the seal it has made and you can then manhandle the thing apart!! 8)

Get a few rags wrapped around your hands and pull it off when the exhaust is still hot!
