looking farward to summer or not..

Okay its not going to happen just yet, what with the horrible weather we’re having at the moment.
Snow,sleet rain,cold,ice,
it’s horrible I tell you it bloody horrible.
Alright
Just to brighten up the sprit of having something to look forward to…….
SUN……..sun, err sun, maybe err even more sun……………..

What u love about summer or not.

1/ sweating buckets in your leathers.
2/ trying to walk with hot leathers sticking to your ass.
3/ sweet running off your forehead every time you have to stop.

'fraid I can't comment on it much from a biker's point of veiw. Last summer was my first and only summer I've spent on the road. 'twas nice to have that little bit of indepence and freedom but my first off, as minor as it was, came as a bit of a shock!!

I luv the summer cos I can stay warm whilst riding the bike and don`t have to bother piling on the layers. I love going to work in the morning wearing just my uniform, no coat and no cardy. I love waking up with the sunlight blazing into the bedroom and realising i`m on a day off and can get the bike out!

Am really looking forward to this summer cos i`ll be having my first holiday in 6 years and i`ll be doing some touring on the bike which i`ve always wanted to do. A fortnight away and spending 3 days in Prague which is somewhere i`ve always wanted to visit and also a couple of days in Budapest... the remainder of the holiday is still to be finalised but I`m so excited and just can`t wait

I like summer because I can get out my purple draggin' camo's instead of wearing michilin mans cast offs. I feel like I've shed pounds....just in bike gear!!

Also there seems to be more of a joy in cleaning off dead bugs from the fairing rather than the dreaded salty deposits of winter. Oh and feeling like your going to melt at traffic lights, instead of wishing you weren't feeling like a block of ice!

if we take summer as being say, June, July & August, then I'll be mainly looking forward to being nowhere near the rubbish on TV that is Big Brother & Eastenders with Ricky & Swampy-donkey Bianca.

I'm a summer person, so very much looking foward to the summer! Though i admit I hate working when its hot casue of all my gear that I have to wear.

This summer will be my first one on the SV so looking foward to it, I haven't rode my bike much lately, casue of the weather and the fact the weather has affected my bike depsite cleaning it, I'm not very happy about it:mad:

Let hope there is a summer, as I think I will limted to 2-3 trips out of the country this year.....
