I really really really wanna get out on the bandit and go for a ride! I've only been off for 8weeks too. :smt013

I think it's made worse by the bloke who lives opposite, think he's brought a Blackbird as keeps riding it around and around the estate (never ever seen him on a bike before though)

Grrr :smt070

All this time off should mean that your boots will be whiter than white when you get back on the road.:)

Weather is poo... I've got a bike but haven't been on a rideout for over a month. You will be back riding again in no time mate, hang in there ! :-)

8 weeks

I suppose I am relatively lucky that its not months and months off the bike.

I keep meaning to give them a clean, but just don't seem to get round to it. There a fashionable shade of 'winter grey' at the moment.

8th next x-rays are due, hopefully should be able to ride and sort of walk normally week or two after....

Its the 12th mate. Wow, that is actually pretty soon, I hope the weather gets better or else we might be having a bloody snowball fight rather than a rideout!

If it makes you feel better I had an R6 whip past me on the B road twisties on the way home. It was dark, I wasn't really trying, but when he did a fly-by, well it would have been sort of rude not to let him know I wasn't actually really trying, I gave pursuit.

Now I admit that I was in the more advantageous position in that he was showing me the road ahead, but I am still quite sure he fully expected to see my headlight become a distant glow. Suffice to say I was helping him illuminate the road ahead all the way until my turn off.

Just thought I'd share that with you to cheer you up. Well it cheered me up and that's what really counts.

Can't have been me as you would have overtaken me. ;)

Good point. Your are quite slow in the corner s;)!

Hope the leg gets better soon James. Your missing nothing in terms of riding. The surface today was as slippery as anything. There is so much grit and crap on the roads that it isnt much fun out there.

Correction. I actually had a superb ride to work and home again. Your either not trying hard enough or riding the wrong roads.

This is true my all masterful, skillfull, riding god friend. Had it been you I know it would have been a complete waste of my time even trying to catch you.

Well I went out and had a play around with the bike earlier. Took it out of the garage, fitted the engine bars, and started routing the tubes for my scottoiler, still trying to work out the best place to fit the reservior.
Then the sky turned black, so I rushed all the tools and bike back into the garage (Well as fast as I could sort of hop them all in!) Just before the skies opened.

I rode to work today, you didn't miss anything, I got rained and hailed on. Grip was fine though, just wet and cold.

I rode into work as well. No surprise there then. But Nick is right, the roads today were very greasy. Having no sidewall tread left on the front keeps me entertained. Ho hum.

Can't have been me as he was probably leaning in the bends and going over 30. ;)

Post corrected.
