+1 every time i rode my missus' SV I always wondered why it felt so different, slow to react etc, just out of interest popped into a station, checked tyres, 10+psi low all round.

"dear, when was the last time you checked your tyres?"
"what tyres?"
"...ok"

Better grip for stunting you mean, that's why you had it that low ;)

That's always my brother's favourite thing to do. His bike sees the light of day about every 2 months & he never checks his tyre pressures. Then moans that the bike's not handling very well :D

I think that's technically a vacuum ;)

My front tyre dropped to 10 psi when i had a leaky tyre valve last summer. Worst thing ever, I dont know how I got back to my dads garage without crashing; there was no stations to stop at to put air in the tyre. Horrible, horrible feeling.

I've been guilty of that - my old rear was down to about 10Psi at one point before I remembered to check it!

Lesson learned though!!
