My friend passed her CBT recently and had been looking at a 125 in Witney to buy. They wouldn't let her ride it though, claiming she needed a full license. So anyway, she rang me up and asked me to hop over there and test it out haha. My God it was wierd! Turned out to be an imported Honda Rebel 125.

Now this picture makes it look BIG, but it wasn't. I thought it was broken cos it hardly moved at all. I was desperately revving it's nuts off to just pull away! Turns out they are all like that. Kept putting my feet off the pegs as they were so far forward. Anyway, it was really bloody stupid and I felt like a right lemon. Makes me love my sv hahaha. Sounded and looked fine though, so I think she will buy it.
One question, the clocks were in kph, and had stickers stuck over to show mph. Crudely. Is that legal? Are there any other legal things you need to look out for on an import?
Make sure the headlight dips the correct way.
There may be more things too- but thats all I can remember at the mo!

Are you sure that isn't a photo of you in a wig?
The crude clock modification is fine. Apart from the headlight thing, there's nothing else you need to look for.

Insurance chappies will ask if its an import, which may make a difference, since they could interpret that as costing more on spares etc, which would increase premiums.

See I asked about the headlight, and it doesn't seem to dip either way, the glass seems symetrical. I have told her to look up the rules on it anyway.
And, yes, ASM is right, it IS a photo of Philbut on that bike

"ent" ? Do you mean ain't, on the basis that it's got two pots? I think the CB125 of yesteryear was a parallel twin.
Personally, I wouldn't touch it with a bargepole - the new YZF125 looks far more appealing, or there must be a few old DT/TDM125s still floating around.

Mito. RS. You kids.

TZR125LF. Marlboro colours, it was. Full servo kit, 2000 miles between rebuilds, jumpers for goalposts...
I'm not really sure what I want to replace the SV with - the heart says a bit kwak, but the 10R is absolutely minging. The gut says Not A Honda for the obvious reason. I don't like the R1, none of the big twins really fire me up, so I'm probably going to end up looking for a decent Gixer thou K5/6. Or a garage full of spare RGVs. Choices, choices.
