Anyone know if the tl1000s top yoke is the same as a GSXR SRAD750 top yoke?????

i think it is bar that the 98' TL yokes have a hole in the top to fit the damper that TLs had.

Not 100% firm on that though, the bottom yoke is deffo diffrent though.

I've got some SRAD 750 forks, and bottom yoke but need a top yoke. There is 1 on ebay from a 1996 tl1000s for a not bad price

Not sure, but I have a TL1000S top and bottom yoke on my 750 and it was a perfect fit just like the SRAD ones are!

The TL1000S bottom yoke is slopped/angled....

Not sure, but i think they are the same (TL's had to be drilled to mount a steering damper) but don't go by my word! The lock stops and fork diameters are identical, the spacing between fork legs too as both bikes use the same spindle, wheel, diss, and calipers. However I think the only thing that could make them a non match (thats if they are) would be the steering stem location and whether the two would line up.

So would i be ok using TL top and bottom yokes for SRAD 750 forks? Will the lock stops still work etc?

yes should be

the bottom TL yokes are diffrent, the fork diameter is larger by 1mm, but the top has the same diameter.

Not with the TL1000S yokes I have on the 750 with SRAD forks, same diameter top and bottom!

err, dont think so, TLS forks are diffrent from GSXR 750 ones, they are 1mm larger in diameter on the bottom yoke clamp, you prolly have TL forks, what colour are the caps and adjuster tops?

Silver, I took them off a '98 SRAD myself and it is definitely a TL'S yoke set.

Dave is right. TLR are 54.5mm and TLS are 54mm(same as SRAD).

Ben

so which forks are 1mm less than TLS forks, a freind bought a set of forks listed as srad 750's, when i tried to fit them to his TLS they would not clamp in the bottom yokes.

I mesured the TLS yokes and they were 55mm at the bottom.

I Can't think of any off the top of my head that are 53mm but a pic might help.

Only thing I can think of is, the yokes/forks might have been changed on your friends TLS ie to TLR ones.
