Is Bear getting a bit of a reputation?
Just to clear it up Bear is a lovely, cuddly bloke the size of a mountain.
He has morals (I think) and "wandering" hands, but he is harmless unless provoked!
Anyone who hasn't met him will see him at AR08 in all his glory (hopefuly with more clothes this year!).

The sv's are great bikes hence why i had two, they just dont fir me very well, so finally i decided to opt fo ra big ol bike.
Keep an eye on the pennine massive section as the ride outs are organised there and they are never races, and tbh its mainly in the rain so its nice and slow... lols
Sure ill see you about,.. speaking of which, when do you get the bike back?
So what do you do in bradford?

We're not fussy around here; sure, its an SV forum and intended for SV's, but if we told owners of othe bikes to clear off we'd only have half the members! XJR's, GSXR's, CBR's whatever-R's are welcome!

I used to be on an astronomy forum, on that one if you didnt have a degree in theoretical astrophysics or something similar they would flame you for just asking a question, there a good bunch on here, all different skill levels, ages etc, get yourself out to pennine massive meet or come over to the border patrol.

The belly pan was on my bike when i brought it; I think its a powerbronze one - not really very good quality and i think there are better belly pans out there.
What belly pan have you got and where should it be attaching? Mine has some brackets that are fixed on the side engine covers; this gave me greif as there was an oil leak, and repeated investigating eventually led to the offending bolt damaging the thread on the engine side, so had to remove that bracket. Thankfully there was enough thead left ot put the bolt in and leave it. Dosnt leak as much now.
RE stewie - I have been part of scientific forums aswell, the amount of intelectual snobbery that goes on is disgusting; so much so, I gave up trying to be the helpfull one as my attempts to help people understand just got ignored over all the flaming and bickering.
Least here we can have a decent discussion, and whilst thngs can get a bit heated, everyone remains freinds
yeah, on here you get flamed sometimes for answering them! ;-)

lol #-o now i am gong to show my ignorence as i have no idea wot kinda belly pan it is, it was handed over with the bike and the guy that sold me the bike had no idea about bikes at all bless him,:smt102 it has no holes in it for brackets or screws and needed respray so i had it sprayed, altho got a bit battered in the move, so just thought i wud ask u about urs as i noticed u got one on there. The bike needed lots of tlc wen i got her and so i quite fancied having the belly pan on her tbh think they look rather nice, even tho she a naked one! :cheese:
i wud not be able to stand to talk to ppl who thought they was above me either, weather they academic or not! and hate bitchiness for no reason, some forums r like that i think???;) this one seems ok tho, so far any ways lol

hoping to get it fixed week before the track day which will be at knockhill again. its a nice short track and evening sessions are only 2 hours long, which is long enough for me when you have to ride for a hour to get there and an hour to get home afterwards.

Has she started making any 'unusual' requests involving bungees, cream cakes, gritty swarfega and syringes since she met Bear?
