View Full Version : another insurane q
afternoon orgers
ive just done a search within the forum for aquote insurance and nothing appeared. iv had a renewal for hundred pound less than carol nash (who was the cheapest last year) and was wondering if anybody else was insured through them. ive never come across them before, are they any good?

Question for you: What else are you getting for your money? e.g. breakdown cover, legal cover, kit cover, that sort of thing?
Matt
thats a good point :(
with carol nash at the mo i have legal cover,uk and european breakdown (not that i wanted eupropean) and an award winning claim service  all that was for 270quids worth of my money, first year of riding
the quote iv had today is for 120quid just to insure the me/bike. i was going to get seperate breakdown cover this year anyway.

How much is it for at least legal cover to be added on?
Carol nash breakdown service aint bad, 4 callouts in a year...shouldnt need that many (unless you have a particularly dodgy bike). They cover you for up to ?1000 woth of extras aswell without decleration
See what else you can get on the cheapy insurance, and if you think its a good thing, go for it!

I'm with A Quote - great service - and I can add any additional bikes for a £10 fee. Currently have 2 bikes on the policy and included in the £10 was a boost from 3000 to 6000 miles for my bmw 650
Haven't had to claim though (touch wood)
id stay with carole nash, ive used both their breakdown and claims and cant rate them high enough

funny you should say that. after i put on the legal and breakdown cover the quote went up a bit, rang carol nash and after a chat with the 'team leader' they dropped my renewal quote by 51quid ;) so have stayed with them
