I have a Micron high level on my 2001 SV650S but use a Quill road legal silencer (still sound really nice).

To keep the silencer tucked in I have had to have a number plate made rotated 90deg with 3 lines (this is legal for bikes registered before Sept 1st 2001). Hope this helps.

Cheers for that! i think the micron can is smaller/lower because you can still keep the rear footpegs on.

I would assume this means i could still keep my standard number plate and Indy's on?

You can keep the passenger footpegs on with the quill, so long as you keep it tucked in.

It will cause no problems with your indicators or number plate as the Micron's are oval shaped! They are well made products, the Micron isn't a performance exhaust if that is what you are looking for. It isn't unbearable loud, no louder than a decent slip on can!
