HELP! Fuel Tank SV650S K2

Hi,
Can anyone tell me if there are any significant differences in the fuel tanks for SV650S from K2 to K3 and onwards?
My wife has a K2 650S that needs a new tank. I have found one, but the seller isn't sure if it will fit. He thinks it's from a K3.
Will it fit?
