Well I've picked up my SV this afternoon :cool:
1999 Curvey, naked, just over 10000 miles on the clock. 12 months MOT. I will take some piccies & post them up tomorrow. It is absolutely immaculate, or it was till I just rode 70 miles through the pouring rain :(

I think it is restricted, either that or its kn@ckered :(. I am going to have to have a look at the carbs, but it feels very lathargic between 5000 rpm upwards. I hope it is restrictions or I will cry. Anyway I am one chuffed puppy that is going on the lash tonight to celebrate my 1st proper ride since the accident & having my independence back :cheers::D:cool:

I am sure someone on here who has a restricted curvy and confirm or dispel your fears that it might be fecked!! ... but more importantly, what colour is it?!!? :D

If its restricted, then it should run out of puff completly after 8000 rpm. Also, with a loaded topbox on going up hill, it wont go faster than 82 mph

Looking at the write up on the main pages I need to change the slides is this right?
I've had the carbs off & cant see any restrictor washers

If it is a Suzuki restrictor then yes it is the slides and not any washers.
