Well firstly some observations

Its quick.. its prercise.. its very well built, its attention grabbing and seeking,
technically though it bogs down awfully through town, the brakes need to bed in and the front dives a bit buch for my liking. Its not as crisp as the demo as it had a few more miles on it, race cans and map 2, im hoping mine will feel that good when iv made those changes!

But all of that doesnt matter as im in love, I collected her at 9.10 am this morning and sadly have only managed 50 miles due to the awful weather that developed today. but i did ride it in the rain and it is still an confidence inspiringly bike when i cleaned her off and tucked her up i miss her, and shes mine i am so pleased

Any way pics below.

Nice bike, there is so much right with the aprilia and id like to buy one buy one thing that puts me off and its the appearance of the engine or lack off why did aprilia cover it with plastic to make it look like a washing machine!!!! Arghhh its one of the things i like about my sv1000 is that you can see the engine with nothing in the way.

Bike mag says suspension is a tad too hard for the road and that some guys turn the handle bars upside down for a better ergonomic position and handling. You might want to look at that; erm don't take any notice of me I'm always thinkering. I'm saying all this 'cause I'm jealous. :)

Lovely. Does that wee screen give any protection or is it just like riding a naked? I don't care about protecting legs, arms, etc. Just the head, I don't want to need Stallone's neck muscles.

I had a naked and a fiared SV and whilst i cant remeber what the faired SV was like, the protection on this is better than the naked SV. But bare in mind there still isnt a lot of protection, Iv now done 140 miles and the wind yesterday was quite hard in places on the hills, its just means it keeps your speed down to legal limits ish. I already have large neck muscles so im sort of used to it though.

Its not too bad ont he juice, i must have been getting nearly 40mpg whilst iv been runnign it in so thats keeping it below 6 k where possible, which now iv cailculated it for you im pleasently supprised! :D

It is a naked so its like riding a naked, but the screen does do something, im 6ft so im quite tall on it anyway.

You can buuy aftermarket screens but i dint like the look of them.

Thanks, its off my shopping list then, but the RSVR and the Falco remain firmly on the "get a test ride" wish list.
