The roads are fantastic; and my god were there a lot of bikes! Must have seen in the region of 200-300 in all.
I've never in England found tarmac so good, for so long. I did 130 miles without encountering anything other than empty clean winding roads. :)

I was up and down that road and the A470 loads of times and waved at quite a few SVs :)
If it was riding a bit... daft then it was me :) I hadn't had a hoooon for too long :) I was wearing camo pants and a blue black textile coat.

Yeah, know what you mean - I did about the same mileage today in Her Majesty's glorious England and only saw bikes going in the same direction as me, no cars at all. Miles and miles of clean clear tarmac so grippy you could get your knee down on every corner. Who said living in England sucks?

"I've never..."
Of all the good twisty roads I've found in England, I find them to be always clogged up with HGVs / in dire need of relaying.

You've never been to Silverstone, have you? ;)
