resistors from maplins or a variable motrax flasher unit, i couldn't be ar@ed so i put the OE ones back on.
motrax dont do a flasher unit for suzukis they do a universal one, will this work and where does it go?

yea thats the one, it goes under the riders seat on the k3 not sure about the k5.
do u reckon some one will have pictures of where it will go?
do u have to cut wires?
im not worried if i have to just need to know which ones to cut
im not really up to spec on all this as u can tell ha ha

the motrax plug in relay just "plugs in" the resistors have to be soldered in. someone will be along shortly to let you know if its in a diff place to the k3.

if you read the instructions it will show you what to do to the relay and the motrax one
its basically take wires from suzuki relay and connect them up with the motrax universal one

Buy the universal 2 pin electronic flasher from motrax and then use this to install it:

Worked great for me. I used a different flasher, but as long as it's a 2-pin model you should be fine. Here's the one I bought for my 2007 SV:

hi,
i need some help.
where can i find the turn signal relay on a sv650 2008?
i replaced original blinkers with led, and they flash much to fast. (i replaced the blinkers and relay on my wife's 650 -00 but the relay is not at the same place on my -08. (i don't know if it looks the same))
thx,

slightly related note, presumably you only need to purchase one flasher unit for your bike, even if you are fitting LEDs front and rear, the DRZ is receiving some pimping next weekend...
one relay does it. :)
(at least on -00)

A 40p resistor from maplins soldered across the indicator wires (i.e. in parallel) has worked fine for the last 4 years for me
linky (http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=2181&DOY=7m4)
i'm sure thats a good solution....but i already have the relay - just don't know where the fu?# to put it!!

One relay done it for me.
It goes into the existing relay which is next to the fuse box, this is either under the rear seat or front seat, mine was held in place between the two seats should be around there.
