Indeed it was. Some awesome* overtakes and sweepers. Throw in a couple of kneedown roundabouts and all is well with the world.
The first roundabout I could feel my knee heating up where I was getting the leather. I must invest in some trousers with less baggy knee's! I was surprised at how comfy your R6 seemed. Potential bike buying mayhem once more! :rolleyes: R6 in black is nice!
* I can't believe he made that one and I'm following! :D

They're not that expensive now, as two new gens have come out.
Get a 05 not a 03/04 as they have the tarty USD forks/better brakes from the R1. Also have a fatter rear tyre. They have a slighly more robust engine as well. :cool:
I shouldn't be tempting you really as if you do get one, it will be sold in a month!
All you need to do is show Dan a bike picture and he's already at the garage putting a deposit down ;)

Are you a fan of slow steering or does the R6 come with a turbo these days?

Yup, that's me! :p
I have to admit I was rather impressed with the R6. The top end is pretty damn good. My Hornet's low down power is good and slightly better than the R6 but once you get the revs up the R6 takes off like a 2 stroke rockets ship! I'm not over keen on the R6 styling though but it seems comfy, sounds awesome and seems plenty quick. ASM wants an R1 so I think he should sell me his R6 at mates rates! :p That being said, the thought of ASM on an R1 worries me! ;)

I see your game....tempt me with a R1 as i tempted you with a R6. :smt062 :p
Every time i go out on it i come back with a big smile on my face, i'm not sure how much happier i could be with a bike. I could get a R1 then just not like it.:plod:

If I'm honest. I don't think you need an R1. That's about as quick as one should ride on the road. Anything quicker could get into dangerous territory with less reaction time etc. I'm pretty sure I'll get a 2nd hand 05 R6 or Gixxer 6 next. Maybe even this year. But the FZ1 will have to wait until I can afford the insurance for another litre bike.
