Yep no problem mate, where abouts do you want to meet? Somewhere coming out of South Guildford near the A281 would be good.

I'll PM you my mob. number.

are you coming in on the A322?

OR

Do you know the 'Seahorse' pub http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&geocode=&q=guildford&ie=UTF8&ll=51.218764,-0.569114&spn=0.001226,0.003374&t=h&z=19

nice big car park with an overflow ontop.

We will be coming in on the A322.

According to the map we pass the Seahorse, so that would work as well.

Sorry, but I am going to have to pass on this now aswell. That's what happens when the wife plans things while you are out at the pub. I should be there Sunday though as I have told her to keep me free for the day. I did say please though.......

We didn't go to Brighton in the end. Tony and myself went to Chiswick Honda and had a nose around. I have come to the conclusion that the only Honda i half like is the CBR600. Having said that i wouldn't buy one.

We then went to the Ace and had lunch. I had chill/cheese/chips which was yum, but made me feel ill!

FGO then finally turned up and we went to Fox's via Amersham/Henley. We then ran out of time and the two Tonys went home via the M40 and i once again tackled some twisties.

Despite the poor weather it was a pretty decent ride. Occasionally its nice to ride in adverse conditions. :riding:

I took a few snaps....

I had a nice hoon back to Henley. Went past a police van at considerable speed though, although i'm pretty sure i'm safe.

Also some git on a blade wouldn't move over to let me past. He didn't look in his mirrors for ages and when he did he still blocked me.

Mark, don't give up straight away. I reckon it was the short notice which spoiled it. You can't let Tony K be the chief organiser......

There was only about 12 hours notice and it was a weekday ride.. I think you did well to get 3 together! If I woke to glorious sunshine then i'd probly have made it but it was pretty overcast and miserable..

I'm not really annoyed that noone turned up, its just that i got up at 9AM ffs!

Oh well i did more work on my bitch strips. I cleaned the bike when i got back and it looked like they were gone. The water must be playing tricks. :)

Thats not as bad as working a 12hr 7-7 nightshift sleeping for 3hrs, waking up late hooning to Guildford only to find the 'cheese eating surrender monkeys' had given up!

- Gave me a chance to sort out some final bits for MOT tho, so day not wasted.
