Na think of all the time you would have to spend cleaning those white wheels :D
It would match your leathers though :smt023

I saw one of these in my local shop, it did look very nice. It was next to a black one and the standard blue, white and red one.

Rob, would have thought you would have had enough of traveling in vehicles with blue lights on :D
Dont forget to fit some chav Halfords mesh in the front of the fairing

Theres plenty of holes for mesh there.

I'd definitely get rid of the ugly can though. Gotta be some better ideas than that. Why do manufacturers make such ugly cans? (I know its partly emissions regs but theres no excuse for that ^^)

u right that can is fugly, i can cope with under seat but exhausts should look like propa exhausts in the right place.

True, its a little like a loud hailer!!! Nice stubby would look lovely.....but then again, I like the smaller cans.

Never mind the can, the headlights on these latest GSXRs are FUGLY! Having said that, I saw the 600 in these colours in ESB in Bolton and it looks pretty 8)

I think it's hideous! I haven't really liked any of the GSXR's since the k4 Fizz/Quiff era.

They seem to be getting worse as well!

Horses for courses I guess. I hate the new R6 front end. Looks like a crab. I quite like the new gixxer though, that front light reminds me of a pheonix for some reason (as in mythical bird thing).

I think thats the best looking GSXR yet, previously ive only really liked the colour. Like the 600RR & the R6 as well, but still dont like Ninjas.

Graham, funnily enough I was attempting the same thing but didnt quite have as steady a hand! Very good :D

Think you could have put the rim tape on a bit straighter;)other than that....nice.

I'm in the Fugly front light camp, but like the current GSXR rear end.

But I think Rob would also like some chrome screen beading as well GMS.....

If Laser can make this exhaust for the new GSXR600/750 then it would make it look a lot better...

But I stil prefer the K4-5's more and then the K6-7's over the new K8.

Whats the big box underneath?

If its a cat/EXUP, can you just chuck that lot and put a proper exhaust on?

It's the cat - on the K8 it's welded to the headers, so only full systems will remove that. If the slip-on is £499, how much do you think the full system is gonna be!

Probably cheaper to get someone to make you a collector. I've always fancied building something with a stubby can mounted right underneath hehe

It would involve cutting and welding the headers though, so it's not massively simple. It's got the lambda sensor (I think) in between the cat and the headers so you can't even just cut it and attach a de-cat pipe.

Lol - yeah a few things to consider if trying to remove the cat! TBH I quite like the ability to keep it as I gather it makes the exhaust a little quieter...hence able to put a smaller can on like that in the picture. It's barely bigger than the link pipe! :D

Maybe I should reword it:

Cat perhaps, but why would you want to lose the Exup/exhaust valving?

yorkie_chris

You wouldn't, except the big box looks ugly.
