2000 SV650S Yellow for breaking

I am about to break my SV as the big end has gone on the front cylinder. With 68000 on the clock fixing it was economically viable. Bike is completely standard. Engine, exhaust and drivers seat not being sold as they not worth it.

All of the plastics are in excellent condition. Tank has a slight dent on the right side where someone reversed into it knocking it over.

The bike is pretty much stripped down now, if you want to see any pictures of any parts let me know.

Just to let you all know I have sold the following parts already: Top fairing, inset panels, rear brake lever, rear brake caliper and hanger, back wheel, rectifier, front sub frame, rear sub frame, the mirrors, headlight, front LHS footpeg hanger and amazingly the engine!! stripping down practice for someone.

I have enquiries about the frame, wiring loom, front discs and ignition coils that I am awaiting follow up from either myself or the person enquiring.

I am accepting paypal payments for those that want the extra benefit of protection from them.

If you have any questions please let me know. If I feel there is a risk that there is anything wrong with any of the parts i'll let you know.

Hello Rich,

I guess it's the dark yellow, the same as the bike on cover of the haynes manual. I'd check the colour code but the bike is at the mechanics in Kimble until they bring it back for me. (sometime this week)

I'll give you a shout when it arrives back so that you can have a look at what you want.

I someone had offered me ?300 I would probably have accepted it. If I sell everything I will make more than that though.

It's nearly completely stripped down now just need to get the swing arm off the frame, the engine was a pain as I couldn't undo the front downpipe and it was almost like the rest of the exhaust had been welded to it.

I know the rectifier has been sold. I'll have a look through the parts to see if the alternator is still there but I can't remember seeing it when stripping the bike down.
