I have not been there befor, I don't know where to go.

It's really easy to get to. It's a couple of hundred yards east of the A4/A404 junction. If you're coming down the A404 from Oxford, come off at J2A (Maidenhead/Reading), go right at the roundabout in the Reading direction, and it's set back from the road on your left. Big car park immediately after it.

I had mentioned this to Warthog. I think I will anyway, but if others are thinking of doing the same then count me in.

I will be there tuesday.

Ride safe ladies and gents.

Myself and warthog will be going, so drop one of us a PM and we can exchange numbers. We can either meet in town or somewhere on the ringroad.

I'm not looking forward to my next trip up the 4074. Fortunately it's well out of my way, so only used when going to Fox's.

Having some trouble getting to sleep tonight. Mind churning. Happy days, eh?

You weren't the only one mate. Obviously I wasn't there, but I still can't quite believe what happened. woke up in the early hours and couldn't get back to sleep.

I had a bad nights sleep too, just couldn't stop thinking about it. I really feel for Dan and Ogden and Flibble, you must have it even worse. I haven't done much at work yet, just feel a bit down.

I can't get away to leave any flowers, and for some reason I am more like Ogden, I am dreading riding past the place.

I can't go 5 mins without thinking about poor Mark. Such a terrible shame. It's really hit me hard. God knows how you guys that were there are feeling.

On a local news site it says Fox's Diner have left some flowers. Nice of them..
If I go over and drop some flowers it'll be in the car. Don't want to ride yet.

I've been debating all day if I should post my next statement or not. I've decided I will.

Can I please ask for only those that actually personally knew Mark to attend tomorrow? This may seem selfish to some, but I wanted to be able to share the experience tomorrow with all those that knew him on a personnel level. A remembrance event rather than just a rally of support from everyone.

A chance for all of us that are personally effected by Mark's passing to share the pain they are feeling.

I apologise in advance if this upsets or annoys anyone.

I had posted in the Soho Massive asking if anyone was going down.

Have now asked for that thread to be closed.

I'm going to be in a right state so the fewer people who see me the better haha :(

Better for the mass celebration of his life to be on a brighter day in the future. This meet is for funerals and mourning and is going to suck mightily :( :(

I've been wanting to come along to the meet for ages but have always had other commitments on Tuesdays this is my first free Tuesday but totally understand the need for you all to console/support and also be there for each other.
I am sure that there are many members here waiting to support you in any way possible

Definately want to go down there to lay some flowers either now or later. I think we should probably do this as a group so that we can support each other.

I went up to the scene on the bike yesturday evening. I'm not quite sure why, but I was really restless and needed to have some time alone. Sitting there knowing what happened was quite upsetting, but at least it gave me a chance to think about it properly and remember all the things that I loved about ASM (the cheeky git).

What a loss...

Jon

PS - see you all tomorrow.

Another restless night. Meh!

I was alright last night. Spent the evening doing stuff in town and by the time I got home it was late enough (and I'd had enough beers) that I managed to nod off fairly quickly. Being too busy to dwell helps.

I'm unlikely to be at the Shire before 7 tonight and I'm not sure how late I'll be able to stay, as it's the "wrong" tuesday so things don't tie up so well. I suspect I'll pass on any trip up to the scene unless I get swept along by a critical mass - the photo on the OM site was enough to jog the memory and my last mental image of the site as we walked away is quite poignant enough.

So we'll see.

Me and Phil are definitely on for today, see you at 6:30. Last night I slept better but as soon as I remembered again in the morning I was wide awake at 7.
