I... well my missus was wondering if you can make the pillion seat on a k5 svs any grippier?
even under light breaking she seems to slide forwards, into the back of me.
im being really smooth whilst she is on the back with smooth breaking and smooth acceleration so she is really happy on the back but just finds herself sliding,
she prefers holding onto me than the grab rail.
you guys got any advice?
or any aftermarket stuff advised?

try a triboseat from somewhere like m&p
try a triboseat
+1, makes a massive difference. I think that they sell them on ebay too.
+2 it stopped the wife ramming my nads into the tank when braking!

Quick tip.......we saved our money and just bought 2 anti slip mats (designed for dashboards of cars etc) from Wilkos.....Lily no longer slides into me at all.

Thee wonder web stuff wesigned to stop luggage marking or slipping about on your plastics and seat also works damned well. Can be cut and tied/stapled/glued etc in place quite well.

That sounds a good idea, I'm usually wearing my waterproofs when on the back which makes things slippier anyway, but didn't think of putting something on the actual seat.
YC's just recently got some of those sticky grips (Stomp pads I think they're called) to put on the sides of the tank, could that type of thing work for a seat too ?

Stompgrip not really, the rubber matting stuff is apparently great though.
Dizzyblonde uses it on her corbin seat which is quite slippery for her, says it makes it loads better.
Not sure if the K5 seat is any different from the K4 seat but you do slide more with textiles on,i grip with my knees to stop me sliding.:)

yep my corbin seat made me ride on top of the tank literally until Rictus suggested some rubber mat stuff from woolies. Already had some for my panniers and shoved it over the seat, so now I have a non slip seat don't budge an inch:D
