OK
so you know the story of my new bike

the discussion over a hugger- white or black.

ended up with a bargain black one with gold mesh

most said looks good.

deep down i knew I wasnt happy..

so-

went B and Q today ?6 of mesh ..

a bit of time (about 45 mins) in my garage- my hot glue gun - some skill and patience and voila.. I like the change and now am happy and prefer black to white now its silver mesh ..

the mesh cuts with a stanley knife and snips up neat with tin snips.. bit of time to take off nice n steady the gold mesh then use as a template- and then just spot glue on with my hot glue gun the silver ..

oh and of course I had to watch telly whilst doin it- EVERY MAN SHOULD HAVE A GARAGE AND TOOLS !!

at this point I was quite chuffed-

and back on the bike

so all in all ?6 a bit of man time.. and I happy with the result..

Quiff - or anyone else who might know actually, does anyone do a hugger like that for a pointy?

Not that I am aware of

Powerbronze are the makers of Quiffs, but looking at their site, their SV ones are all "traditional" rather than the "vented-with-mesh" style.

Fortunately the Zed does come in the vented style - just waiting for mine to arrive :)

yeah, I just checked on the powerbronze site, and the only SV ones are those huge bulbous looking things which I really dont fancy. :(

Quiff has had this thing about mesh ever since he met that lady boy on a night out in Blackpool.
