I just built a stud wall and closed in the hot water tank to be used as an airing cupboard and I dont know if Im supposed to vent the door? Should I vent it at all, my mate said that door will warp.

If it's just the hot water cylinder then no you don't need to vent it.

why would the door warp?

The boiler in the airing cuboard at my house is sealed in, like, the door isnt vented and there are no other vents. I can understand that it might warp from the heat of the boiler compared to the heat outside...but only if you have a crap door I guess :D

Depends what materials you use.

Remember it is an airing cupboard. Not a drying cupboard. Putting wet/damp clothing in there to dry, the water has to go somewhere . That is then why you get warping as the construction materials soak/dry
