I would like a pointy, but beggers can't be choosers :P.

I am from Harrogate in North Yorkshire. Still living with my Dad which is unfortunate but he has an R1 so atleast there will always be someone to go ride with!!

Hello from near(ish) by, up near Stokesley myself. There are a few from Yorkshire on here, have a look in the pennine massive section (regional groups), there are ride outs every few weeks.

Well done on the test and enjoy the bike.

Wow! A yellow curvy!!! Funily enough, they are THE best bikes to have restricted. Mine regularly beats porsches and other fast cars through london, and I have top box!!!

You'll find 2 years of your life on a 33 bhp SV very fun indeed.

Thanks for the welcomes!

Some little bits need doing on it but they are getting sorted before I picked it up. Rear pads and throttle cable. Only 10.5k miles!

At the moment it has two different tyres on. Front is a Metzeler and rear is a (new) Dunlop. Matching pair is best yes? Any reccomendations for tyes?

I am so excited about picked her/him/it up! :D

As far as tyres are concerned we could go on for hours as its on rider preference e.g i like pirelli diabalos but my mate cant stand them. Also it depends what your using the bike for? But Metzler Z6`s seem to be widely liked.
Congrats on passing btw, my sv used to be restricted and when it finally came off it felt like a whole new bike, smiles all round:D

good evening chasey, stunning bike. as tyre choice i favour bridgestones, they seem to give me a little more confidence in the winter and they haven't let me down yet.:crutches:
