Has he not mysteriously turned up yet then?

Numbers, when you said he's picking the bike up, is it in Australia?

nope.. no idea who this joker is...

But i do know who Matt P is..

Hes a ex college coleague of mine from years back, and we have always shared a mutual interest in cars and bikes, although my bias has been bikes.

Matt has a Focus St, and during a visit to leeds the other months we managed to beat him into submission so he finally did his bike test and subsequelntly purchased his new toy.

Ill leave the rest to matt to show off his toy but see... im not a complete loner.... :smt075.... i say compelte.....

Im just surprised at how quickly you were able to remember how to set up a second account Mr Numbers :P

Talking to yourself is bad

Talking to yourself on the internet in public, well thats soooooo much worse.

well, i'm home and the bike is here :) (silver SK3, that chunkytfg had for sale)
however it did 2/3rds of the journey on a recovey truck! combination of inexperienced rider (that would be me then) and a semi-goosed battery ment 1 stall too many and I couldn't restart anymore!! Oh well, lives and learns, it's here now and i'll be sorting out a nice fresh battery tomorrow! only pic I have so far is of it on the back of the truck, I'll post that up later on, now off outside to prod at my new toy!

Well, here she is, on the back of a recovery truck isn't the greatest look I have to admit, but the battery is on charge as we speak so decent pictures to follow soon!

You will get used to the biting point on the clutch in no time.

A nice ride will get the battery charged up for you as well. (after it has been charged enough to start it)

Nice looking bike you have there as well.

Nice blueflame can, I have one of those and they sound so much better with out the baffle.

monkey
09-04-08, 08:48 PM
Don't half mess around with the power though. Especially on track.

The can itself, or removing the baffle/s?

monkey
09-04-08, 09:10 PM
The baffles. The cans are great. Early ones got sla**ed off for poor build quality but I think that's been sorted. I found having just the smaller baffle (cap) out made it a good compromise for the track. All out sounds the nuts but coppers can hear you coming a mile off. If you haven't got any get some circlip pliers to take them out if you're going to do it a lot. Makes it so much easier (You need the inside type).

Have fun!
:)
