Went out into the Dales today as it was a beautiful and sunny day and for once I actually got my camera out.

Stopped for a hot drink as my fingers were nearly falling off and got chatting with this lovely old guy as he reminisced about his love for bikes in his youth.

My dad was on a course at Catterick when I was born, my first home was at Blandford Camp in Dorset, home of what was the School of Signals and 30 Sigs.

Yup, me was an army brat also. Born in Catterick hospital, then at 2 months moved to Hong Kong. Ended up in Germany after that.

Most digi cams these days will take a good point and shoot picture.

I have a Canon Ixus 70 and it's awesome.

I just need to get out there and use it :)
