I can understand why the judge can't impose a tougher sentence because of what he was found guilty of, but how on earth was he not charged with death by dangerous driving in the first place!?

Running someone over twice has got to be worse than a driving offence. Shoot the f###er.
Reversing in a one way street I would hope would not automatically lead to a charge of Dangerous driving. (intentionally getting back in your car and driving forwards over an injured child in the road ...well ...???)
so not being aware of the facts, it sounds plausible that this is fair.
How about the parents taking responsibility for a 4 year old in traffic?
What i want to say i cant, i would be thrown off the site, one day justice will be done.
and people claim our justice systrem is the best in the world:confused: WTF!!!!!!!!!
Does tis just not add more evidence to our eweak and too lieniet society?? WTF planet does that judge live on.
If justice was to be served that driver would be swinging from the gallows now!!
If that was my kid he would be (after some long interogation and touture first)
this sort of thing really f**ks me off with this country.:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
well there is an nice picture of him maybe he will get f**ked up locally??
I might start a vigilante group to carry out the justice the system is to weak to stomach, who is with me???

Bare two things in mind:
First, the media trawl through thousands of cases to find the worst ones like this. To say the justice system is 'crap' would be like saying riding a motorcycle will almost certainly get you killed, because you read in the news someone got killed on one the other day.
Second, the courts rely on the CPS presenting their case properly. If the prosecution ***** up, the judge is powerless. IIRC correctly, funding for the CPS has been cut under Labour, something else you can thank Tony Blair for.

Yer get the justice that yer pay for.
Whether this be via a formal legal system or not is up to each to choose.
Unfortunately way too much money and self interest involved in keeping the UK Criminal Justice system as a merry go round.........if yer lock folk up yer lose too many punters.
jesus christ. the law is such an a$$.
I would take matters into my own hands if someone ever killed my kids. Whether the law did or not.
The shame on this guy. He should feel sick and disgusted every day of his life. Scum bag
