n.irish newbie here, just bought a new black sv 650s this week, was expecting delivery today/tomorrrow but looks like its early next week now (bummer!!!) . quick question ...... whats everyones thoughts on the k8 red seats? i was gonna give it a month to see if it grows on me , heard the black seat off a k7 will not fit, again is this correct? has anyone tried??

Welcome to the .org :) Personally I'm undecided about the red seat. Given the choice I think I'd change it for a black one. I know there are some people on here who hate it!

I got a new Black one, with a red seat.

Dealer has said he has a 2007 black seat around - will let me have it - will have to see if it turns up.........and wot it looks like.

Can't say the red seat has grown on me - but IMO not offensive, but of course I don't get to see it much!

Will see if I can pop some pictures up.

not keen on red seat myself. but hey you wont see it when your sitting on it. will be easier to spot your bike at annual run. oh yeah Hiya
