Smiths in Whitley is pretty good. He doesn't care about cans aslong as they haven't got a 'Not for Road Use' stamp on them.

Try Bill Turner in Caversham

Did the MOT on my Thou last month....FUEL pipes no baffle, no problems. He suggested they weren't loud...I suggested he had too much hair in his ears.

His MOT methods are very crude to say the least, bathroom scales and wall winches are used..... but hey I don't care.

Getting bucket MOT'd tomorrow there. So if it fails for not having a reflector or my can is too loud, your going to pay. ;)

Yup really. Normally I always put the standard can on and a little reflector. Should have done that.

But to be fair, the race can does have not for road use on it. It's not exactly legible but I didn't do a good job of grinding it away. He said if I were to lose that bit he'd OK it.

If someone wants to bring a file with them tonight, that'd be cool.

Ah right, mine dosent have not for road use on it, as I think its from the states. Although the name TwoBrothersRaceing is abit of a give away...

He told me it wasn't overly loud. I looked but couldn't see his hearing aid.

What a legend. Just took the CBR today for an MOT. Weighed the bike with electric weighing scales from argos and was a generally pleasent chap. Got the usual...."I have to inform you that your exhaust is on the loud side" speach but other than that A ok.
