Please sticky this briefly please Si.

I have ordered a large sheaf of funeral flowers to be delivered to the crematorium for Mark's funeral so we don't have to carry anything on our bikes. I have signed the card from "from Nick, all the members of the TVSF, and the rest of the www.sv650.org (http://www.sv650.org) members.". If anyone wants to give me some money towards these that would be fine, but my main concern was just to get it ordered so that Mark's parents would definitely see a large response from the forum.

EDIT: Just ot make things easier, my Paypal account is nickroesen@hotmail.com . Thanks to the many people who have already offered to donate. Anything that is raised over the amount of the flowers will be donated to the charity fund that Si is organising, so that way you have contributed to the Make-a-Wish foundation and flowers. Many thanks again.

Nick

I'll give you some cash when I see you. Assume you will be there on Monday?

You can also have the cash that was donated by the Shire staff. Seems a fitting way to spend that money.

How did they know, anyway??

I was wondering that myself. I have a feeling the bar staff must have overheard our conversation at the bar before we went outside.

And it was bloody nice of them to do so

Unequivocally.

I guess that means we're regulars then, eh?

It was indeed damn nice of them. I have had an overwhelming response to this, there is plenty of money so I will send a lot to the Make-a-Wish foundation after the funeral. Thank you to everyone who has donated or who intends to in the future.

They found out from me. I was speaking to one of the bar staff - he is about to buy a bike and wanted to know what he should get. He mentioned he had heard about a large accident that weekend and I saw no reason not to mention it as they all know us pretty well.

Thought it was very decent of them donating towards the wreath.

Just a note to say I have edited all my posts to change the charity this is going to. Mark supported the Make-a-wish charity and it is his parents request that any donations go to that instead, sorry for the mis-information.
