Nice to see where we are going to be staying. I think that the "Pool" will be most inviting if the weather is hot and a few bevvies have been consumed. lol

On the friday we''l have to go to the local post office to get you a day fishing license cause you wouldn't want a £1000 fine! £3.50 for a day license and I'll provide the kit:cool:
may go and have alook tomorrow
will we get 500 on that field

I hink ?3.50 is the better bet. I wanted to do the ride, but even though i prob won't i get to still be part of the fun with some great people.
dont fget your tin of catfood for them pesky carp
Apparently the poles eat carp, does this mean food for the barbie is going to be fresh caught fish?
Daryl.:D:chef:
is the area liable to flooding?
looks all good, the carpark looks like it will all packed out by us

is the area liable to flooding?
No, the particular area that the campsite is on is higher than the surround low land. So no need to worry about flooding.
Theres plenty of bike parking space round the back of the pub, so no need to worry on that score either.
Luckily that speed camera should only catch us as we pull away or pull in, so we shouldn't be more than double the speed limit...

Honestly in my 35 years of living in this area, I've never seen the campsite flooded or remotely looking like it was going to flood.
Please dont let this get out of hand, I dont want people put off coming because they are worried the campsite might flood if it rains...
Aw Fizz, we're only messing around... :)
Surely the sheer ridiculousness of the idea of bringing a life-raft for a tent highlights that to everyone? :)
Sorry I'm making you nervous... ;)

Nah, Thunderdome... 10 men enter, 1 man leaves... Well, 2 in this case as per the Grinch & Bear Boots & Underwear caper... and... we weren't all men either...
I like to host knife fights in my tent.... :pirat:
Seriously though, It was a handy chunk of extra covered space that could hold a decent amount of people. The weather was abysmal. :)
Y'know... I provided something like 70% of the covered space for AR07... Bow before me...
