Decided to go out for a wee ride last Wednesday after work, got home late and in a bad mood. I was going to can the idea but thought, why shouldn't I.

So just to make things worse, got out and after a few miles, down the Renfrew Road, the speedo stops working, then works intermittent and is reading way off.

That just made my already bad mood worse.....

End result, a few very angry gear changes nearly getting chucked off and not enjoying a blast through Glasgow and back across the Erskine Bridge at all.

Sometimes bikes arer great and very relaxing, times like above, I now know i should keep the cover on it.

On a brighter note, went hill walking on Saturday near Dalmally, forgot all about the A85 until then. Think I'll be back soon on two wheels! :)

Cheers

With you all the way brother.

I have a similar relationship with the bevvy, sometimes it's great and very relaxing other times I should leave the cork in!

Its a real bugger when it doesn't work right for you. I sometimes feel your out on the bike, and things are going just right, almost feel like your part of the bike like in some cheesy symbiotic relationship! But then there are the times when you feel like you really need to go back and re-fit your stabilisers.

I used to ride my mountain bike when I was angry, that worked petty well except that I always ended up running out of anger when I was miles away, usually at the bottom of a hill, and shattered.

Yep, if your annoyed on a bike join the motorway and take the quickest route home. I can't ride for toffee if I'm wound up.

Stopping for a coffee at the nearest place when I'm feeling like that does it for me. I always feel better when I stop for a while and relax.
