Just registered, so I thought I'd say hi!

I'm not quite a newbie, since I had an SV for 2 years (enough time to work out the genius that went into designing the SV) but I'm coming back (a) to London after living in France and (b) to bikes after having a year off, so I thought I'd claim some beginner's luck...

Anyway, I pick her (bikes are female on this forum?) up on Sunday and I look forward to meeting some Londoners in Soho one night!

Crikey- thanks for the warmth of welcome!

As thanks- a bit of biker porn: the nicest road I found in France:

http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&geocode=&q=entraygues&jsv=107&sll=51.500152,-0.126236&sspn=0.608683,1.444702&ie=UTF8&ll=44.641972,2.564707&spn=0.043481,0.090294&t=h&z=14

The D920 is three lanes of newly surfaced joy snaking down a hill, and then the D904 is a one and a half lanes of tight, tight fear through the forest
