Anyone out there good with employment law as my ex-companies HR department is stating that I'm not entitled to my bonus. Any help would be great...

Depends on what is in your contract with regards to when Bonuses are paid , some companies state that you have to be in employment when bonuses are paid even if they are retrospective bonuses.
as an example, I left a company in Jan'06 and had a letter from my sales manager that as I'd acheived 126% SvT I was due a large bonus which would be paid in Feb'06 but did not get the monies because I'd left. The company I currently work for will continue to pay bonus if you achived the results even after you leave. It should all be in the company handbook or your contract. However look out for the small print which states that the company is able to give bonus at it's discretion.
A hard one to fight in the courts depending on the situation. Send me the details and I will get a HR friend to look at it for you
