View Full Version : Toilet signs: surely everyone knows it by now?
Maybe I have too much time on my hands, and not enough real things to get wound up by, but recently I've found 'don't flush paper towels down the toilet' signs deeply irritating. Surely no-one still does it? I guess they must, or do these signs just appear organically once a toilet reaches a certain age? Like pubic hair, beards and boobies (preferably not on the same person) they are a sign of toilet maturity perhaps?
Has anyone here been forced by circumstance to mount one of these signs in a workplace?
The one that gets me is in the ladies at Fox's Diner. It says
'Ladies, please use the bins provided.'
Personally I'd rather pee in the toilet, but if they insist!:)

I'll leave the rest to your imagination

Wellllllllll I work in a government building, full of civil servants, in the past 3 years they have
Filled half a dozen toilets with bog rolls/papertowels and flushed them till they leak through to the floor below.
Used the sinks as a toilet for number 1's and 2's!!!!!!!!!!!!
Kick tested urinals till they break
Ripped sinks off the walls
Asked for training courses in how to lock the toilet doors...............
Well u know what they say 'Work with children......................'

Yup then they will ask for a course on how to wipe their own ass:rolleyes: what you expect anything less?
One of my sites used to have a really patronising sign that said something like "If you make a mess on the seat please clean it up. ****** Manager" It was much more patronising though. It's been replaced with a please be sweet and wipe the seat sign which hasn't been signed.
They have the paper towel signs everywhere. Why would men take paper towels into a cubicle with them or use them at a urinal? ( I assume you were in the Men's Bear?)
Mental note: Buy fine line permanent marker.
