I'm looking for an end can for my k5 650. I want something with a nice noise more importantly than looks but obviously want it too look good. Choices at the moment are either a - Carbon Can Co.
Fuel Stainless Steel
Beowulf Stubby Matt Black.
What do you guys recommend?
I'd suggest a bit of research in the Hardware - Exhausts section.
But any of those cans you list would be good. I have a CCC myself.

Also have a look at the Freeflow exhausts on egay. I've got one on mine. Stainless, oval and only 33" long - ?110 delivered. You'll get the best of all worlds, sound, looks, sort of stubby and stainless (oval too - if you like).
I think that Fuel, CCC, Beowulf and Freeflow are all made at the same factory, if you're wondering about quality.
Up to you all the same.

I got a Scorpion Street Extreme.....I would say it is one of the nicest sounds in my view.....as for looks, well it depends whether you like them short and stubby or long?
+1 for the Street extreme
Nice meaty sound, but not too loud with the baffle in

Agreed, with the baffle in it just sounds nice, but not annoying to neighbours etc. But, as found out on the NW3, with the baffle out it reverberates of the welsh mountain sides!!! Was sooooooooooooo much fun.
I've just put a beuwolf on my bike. (not a stubby one though)
It sounds mint. And the price was right :)

About them Freeflow Systems cans, does anyone know what's happened to their ebay site?
I was looking at getting one of those but they've disappeared off ebay...:o

I had one and was very happy with it.
Have emailed them at the address I have for them to see what the situation is.

The Freeflow exhausts pop up onto Egay from time-to-time. You just have to look out for them.
I have one, and I'm going to join the 'rest' of the CCC and Fuel groups and say "Freeflow exhausts are the best".
Whatever exhaust/bike/car/girlfriend anyone has will always say it's the best!!!
CCC, Fuel, and Freeflow are literally the same exhausts, price and quality. Any exhaust on an SV will give you more pleasure, soundwise, and looks wise - so it's up to YOU and your budget!
But for an Oval, stainless, some-what 33" stubby, ?110 delivered to your door.... Freeflow does it for me (because I have one!!)
YOU decide.

Hiya - thought I would butt in and set the record straight!
We make FUEL cans, Carbon Can Co make Carbon Can cans and Beowulf make Beowulf and Freeflow cans!
They are not all made at the same factory and although may look similar all have different manufacturing styles and finishes. Quality and service is different from each manufacturer and I didnt see the others come anywhere near us in the RIDEr Power Survey last year - or the year before?!?! You can see the full exhaust survery on our website if you want to check!
We source and manufacture everything ourselves and do not use the other exhaust manufacturers to supply us with parts, although they may tell you otherwise. Any questions - just drop me a line and I will try to help you - exhaust questions only though! ;)
Tee hee! Louise. :)

I have a Fuel can- stainless oval. Very happy with it- sounds great sans baffle.
I can confirm that customer service received was very good.
Can I have a retrospective discount now Louise?!
Lol.
I can recommend blueflame, they look and sound very good. Mine got sent off to be repacked the other week and instead of repacking the internals they sent me a brand new exhaust instead. :p Cant fault that service.
The can was still in brilliant condition but was just abit loud......all exhaust loose their packing and sound deadening capabilities over time, so it wasnt down to any previous quality issues blueflame used to suffer from.
I love my ccc tri-oval can!!! It sounds and looks great.

Hmm... more than likely they spotted the common Blue Flame fault with the weld on the perferated core not holding up and opted to swap it for quickness.
I do not rate Blue Flame, there customer service is terrible and most of the staff haven't a clue as to what you ordered or when/if it will be delivered. Apparently there cans are now better made and a lot of people on here have them and rate them, but after my 3 month experience with the can supposedly being in transit (checked with courier, nothing due to my address) I gave up only to be told 8 days later my exhaust was ready to be shipped!!! :smt013

Remus revolution.
Window shatteringly loud when you give it beans. Lovely burble at low rpm / throttle position.

Lovely- thanks. The mintcake was very useful fuel (!) for sawing off the old exhaust...!

Ive got a stainless stubby oval Beowulf - sounds great especially on the over run. With the baffle out a mate said he heard me coming a good five minutes before I got there. Baffle in is not too bad for neighbours not that Ive left mine in......
