Hey All, I was riding around the countryside today because it was absolutely gorgeous. During my trip from Aberdeen to Newmachar an Aston Martin Vantage came screaming up behind me and he stayed glued to my A**E so I was fed up of him not backing off or overtaking. I then thought, ok I'll try my luck so I gave it full throttle and the gap was increasing and increasing, I then slowed down as I don't want to kill myself. He then caught up, overtook me and hammered it away. I opened the throttle 3/4 way open and he never made a gap. I then settled as again I was getting too speedy but not crazy as I usually act like an old man with speed. He then made the gap bigger and bigger, care, I was just so chuffed I own something so fast for so cheap!! I've nothing against Aston Martins at all, such a lovely car but I am astounded at the SV!! Excellent value and I'm still smiling. Happy riding!

Take it easy matey. If the car driver does something stupid and you come to blows accidentally, there's only gonna be one outcome and it won't fall in favour of the guy thats only got two wheels!

Nice one!

This month's BIKE magazine has their long term test Versys at a drag strip where it happens up against a 200 grand Lamborghini Murcielago. Guess who won? :D

But +1 on what Ralph said too...

Yeah, I was just so amazed at the SV's power. Oh aye, definitely about the safety guys. You can't help yourself every so often. Lol. It just shows you how amazing the cars are that can accelerate at bike speeds. Incredible!

I havn't really come across any form of races on my SV other than my cousins Ninja and even then the SV still performs well in a straight line :) Would have loved to have been an on looker at you and that Astin though :)

To be fair if the car driver was a half decent driver, most bikes with a half decent rider wouldnt keep up on a nice twisty road.
