Bought a cheap bellypan off a friend that bought the wrong type, he's got a pointy.
I knew it was one of the Weiss ones off Ebay which are about ?41 delivered. I paid ?25 for this one.
Looks ok when on the bike, thought I would dry fit it before putting the top coat of paint on.

Then when you look close, it's awful. I dont know whether to leave it off, or just bite the bullet, paint it & leave it on.
The glassfibre doesnt have any give in it at all, so it is a really tight fit. To get it to this state took me over an hour and a half. The brackets that are supplied have to be cut and shaped to size and drilled to attach them onto the engine - screw it up & game over.
My advice? stick to the quality stuff, you don't have any problems then :)

No but I took it for a run yesterday & there was a TINY scorch mark, so I thought I might as well leave it.
Just got to wait for my Headlamp fairing, then I'll be happy :)
