Didn't a few people have a few issues with cheap tents last year?
Any Halfords/Tesco/Lidl/Aldi cheap tents will be practically disposable, use for a year or two at bes then throw them out.
If you pay a bit more you will get something that lasts, and if you look after it (which really on means making sure its never packed away totally wet) then you will have few problems.
I have one (well had) tent that was good for 5 years, and is still being used by the mate i sold it to - only got rid of it because it was seriously too big, and I was able to get my hands on one that had the same sleeping capacity, but packed up a bit smaller and lighter - Jambo borrowed that on for AR07.
My advice would be to pay a bit more and get a bit more for your money.
Mind you, if you like your tent to have the ability to turn into a swimming pool if it rains...........
Not that cheap in all honesty.
I bought a 3 season sleeping bag fromD ecathlon for ?15 last year and an inflatable roll mate for ?10. Youd be better off getting a tent from millets for that money.
However,t he prtable Satelite dish looks good. Stick that on my tent

mine was just sh*t, - argos, not lidls tent - I bought it because it was compact but this worked against me, plus it let water in but not out.

Was gonna get a cheapy tent myself, but splashing out (£26) on a Vango from here. http://www.outdoorworld.co.uk/tents-by-brand-vango-tents-c-16_29.html
UKI: I can recommend those - I've got a 200 series tent, but its a 1 man + kit tent. Thats the only bad thing though, because it folds up tiny as a result.

That's alright then. I was looking at a smaller tent, but then realised i'd have nowhere to put me gear, doh! If the 200 will fit me and me stuff in i'll be happy! Would it fit in an expanded tailpack Orose when packed?
Unfortunatly not - the poles fold down to about 2 foot sections, so thats as small as you can make it. They do fit into less width than panniers, however, so I strap them together as a set such that panniers, tailpack, tent and sleeping bag all come off the bike in one piece.
aldi are doing this at the moment. http://uk.aldi.com/uk/html/offers/2867_5794.htm
I bought something very simlar from my local tesco store for ?19.99. The also had a 2 man for ?17.99. I'm glad I got the 3 man. the packed size wasn't much different, nor was the price. I now have plenty of room for me and the servants.
Good deal for tent :D
