Ordered my helmet from them...

After a confirmation of order email, i sat back and waited with excitement for my knew lid, which i've wanted for a fair few years. First time I saw Kagayama racing...err...think I was 16 or 17, I thought he was the dogs b*llocks...I wanted his helmet...it's beautiful...well maybe not beautiful, but there's just something about it. Anyway enough about that.

A weeks passed and it's not arrived. So I emailed BigBikeBook asking for any information of my order. Apparently, in a very informal and unprofessional email, with bad spelling, grammar and use of English, they explained that they had tried to process my card details three times on various occasions. If it doesn't work the first two times, what's to say it will work on a third try?

Anyway, I feel that if the details didn't work the first time, they should have contacted me via phone, as my number was left on the order form. It took me to contact them to find all of this out. Waiting to call them tomorrow to sort all of this out as they have failed to contact me again.

Anyone dealt with this company? I'm sure they are fairly new - my order number was 190... They do have some good deals and offers, so by all means check out the website, but be prepared for some shoddy customer service.

Big Bike Book has been around for years I thought, phone them up and cancel mate, you can get the helmet from many more reliable sources. I don't mind having to wait for items as long as i am told.

Ahh just read this...

The Big Bike Book was rescued from the old Carnell Motorcycles Ltd some 10 years ago. Now, using a wealth of experience in the industry, the Big Bike Book team can bring the best products at the best prices from the web to your door. In 2008 Big Bike Book launched its new, updated and faster website working with one of the 'leaders' in website development, Magicalia Ltd. The Magicalia group also own Visordown.com, the online motorcyclists magazine, and the published magazine Two Wheels Only, thus adding another dimension to the Big Bike Book.

Thing is they had a good price and free shipping...so I think I will just have to wait and try and resolve the issue with them...seems a shame because plenty of other companies i've ordered from have been alot more helpful.

Knew it was something like that.

In your case from now on I recommend you contact them by telephone only and get the name of the person you speak to every time, try and ask them to call you with an update every now and again!

Its a pain in the ar** when some companies treat you like this, imagine it was your first online order, wouldn't it put you off doing it again with any company!

keep at them mate, become annoying and they will try the best to get rid of you by delivering!
