Hi all,
I have tried the search function but I couldn't find what I was looking for exactly.
Anyway I have a 2003 K3 sv650s, over the last few weeks I have noticed occasionally that the fuel pump hasn't primed as the ignition was turned on. Turning the ignition off then back on cured the problem. But this morning not only did the pump not prime but the "FI" symbol and the red warning light started flashing. I turned the ignition off and on several times and this cured the problem. Is this a symptom of something more serious or could it be a case of me being to careless with the hose when washing the crud off?
Any help would be appreciated,
Stevie.:(

put the bike on 2 dealer mode and see what problem code it gives you then check the code on the list which is somewhere on this site i think.

First I would check the wiring and connections to the fuel pump... make sure they're in good condition, and the connections are clean. A little WD40 to ensure they're free of water wouldn't be a bad idea either.

It's not something I've heard of before... keep an eye on it.
