remapped for what ?

unless you have a full system/race filter, it's not really worth the money to be honest, you'll get a little back as the dips put in to get it threw emissions (about 3,500 revs) and rideby noise (about 5,000 revs) but not a whole lot more.

Are you getting it actually remapped (onto the ECU,) or a PC fitted ?

Cheers Mark.

i have full system with scoriopn street extreme, kn filter and sv 1000 snorkel on it,
getting the ecu remapped... cheaper than a pc

Should get the same results as a PC if done properly!

I had mine remapped (a basic 'Yoshi Box' they called it, that adjusts the fuel/air ratio + or - 5%) although purely to sort out the fueling as it was popping and banging something crazy when I fitted my renes.
Only difference was that it drank a little more fuel, didn't pop or bang as much (still does a little occasionally), and any performance gains were hardly noticeable, although it did feel ever so slightly more torquey lower down the revs.
