i heard from my local dealer that their not gonna make the sv 1000 anymore does anyone have any hard evidence that i could read as i was hoping that when i'm due to upgrade i was gonna move to that bike....
(edit) p.s. i did search the threads but came up with nothing.:(

the last they made was the classic, a nekid model in black with renthal bars and white clock, if u dont get one of those quick then it'll be a second hand model when u upgrade.

Very old news this, it has been over a year since the SV1000 was officially discontinued, however dealers have still been unofficially classifying them as K7's and K8's. The current special edition 'Classic' version is technically a spare parts bike, what Suzuki had left over!

ESB in Bolton also have the SV1000 Classic in. Nice looking machine with the renthals, would look nice with some stubby cans on it.
