I have just purchased a 1999 (V) SV with a few minor cosmetic problems one of which is the rev counter. The problem is the white face on the rev counter is peeling and i was wondering if anything can be done with it or will it need to be replaced?
Thanks in advance guys:)

Wow, that is a new-eee
Anyway, you can take the clocks off the bike and apart to get to the dial face. Hopefully a bit of super glue or Araldite in the right places should see you right!! 8)
If your question is can you get in there and take them apart, the answer is yes, just a few screws on the back of the clocks and you are in 8)

I think i will have to have a word with suzuki about it because it doesn't look like it been tampered with and it cant be right. Maybe its a one off defective one that could be replaced for free? Bring on the Jimmy-james super blag. I will let you know how things go!
Thanks for the info!

Group buy maybe? There must be others interested and a good discount to be had from the supplier!

The only reason i'm a fan of the glow ones is maintaining the standard look and keeping the miles correct.

They won't keep your miles correct though.
