If the wife uses supermarket ones I always prick those emulsified offal tubes before I cook them. Otherwise the excessive fat builds up and explodes.

Normally I buy decent butcher produced sausages with real meat content

I pr!ck them before cooking them, never tried not doing it so I couldn't compare

A few years ago , Ainsley Harriot brought out some exotic Sausages to complement his "Cous-Cous" that is in most supermarkets , I was scrutineering the packaging and there was a picture of Ainsley with a fork held up in the air , sausage impaled on top , smug grin on his face .......... and right underneath him

The immortal words ................... Pr1ck with a Fork .......... Indeed , how I laughed .

I know this is like asking 'have you checked the kill switch', but doesn't it say on the packet? We buy these thick Irish jobs that specifically say not to and they're bloody great!

When Mrs Tiger cooks them...

i dont really like sausages as the cheap ones I could afford consist of eyeballs and bum holes and sawdust from the floor of butchers

My first job was a butchers boy. I made the mince. Never ask me what went in that.
