View Full Version : make up and cosmetics
I took my mate pillion last year and had to wash t he inside of the helmet after wards as it was covered in foundation, mascara, lippy, hairspray, blusher stuff. I never wear make up and just wondered if any of t he other ladies or gents wear the stuff while on the bike or just the rest of the time or like me and jodie marsh like the fresh faced look lol:p
I think jodie and jade both look much better without all the slap

In my case it's more laziness and tightness.
Can't be bothered with all the faffing around applying it, and have better things to spend my money on:D
I like to keep a clean face wearing my helmet. But at weekends when not riding, I like to spruce up a little with a bit of foundation and lippy.

Urgh I hate make-up and all that stuff. Makes girls look 10 times thicker. All those photos are better without make-up, although Jade Goody is really badly ugly in both :D
i received a make up photo session for my birthday. I love watching Gok and was always saying Id love to get my make up done as when its done properly it does make you look better. Hoping they can do something to make my eyes look more like eyes and less like pis s holes in the snow. lol

Don't much either, put some on in the morning and it's wiped off while later. A few of the sales and marketing girls at my work are quite glammed up, but I guess that's the nature of their jobs/roles meeting clients.
None of them ride bikes.. :riding:

Nah, you get to keep those eyes for the rest of your life. Summat to do with having kids you see. I have the same eyes. Have done for the past 22 years and will have for the next 14 years or so to come.

She is just plain ugly though, the only thing that would make her look better is a paper bag!

I used to not dare step out of the door without tons of slap, but nowadays time is too precious to put it all on. Very occasionally if Im in the mood I wear a light layer of foundation, smidgen of blusher and mascara (you know cover up the signs of ageing a little bit :() but the one thing I would have to have on a desert island is my lippy (very natural shade - its called Birthday Suit ) :D

My friend who rides a cruiser once told me she kept her make up in the leather tool roll on the front of the bike - never really knew if she was joking or not never saw her put any on or repair the bike ;)

More stupid, rather than physically wider haha. But seriously, intelligent girls have more going for themselves than just looks and so don't need to tart themselves up to attract (stupid) blokes.

I kind of think all women look better without makeup. Having said that, I'm no doubt mistaking really good, subtle makeup jobs for no makeup at all. But I used to work in a branch that was entirely filled with really attractive young women, all of whom seemed to secretly wish they were plasterers, so they compensated by layering themselves with an inch of makeup. They all ended up looking almost identical, ie like the Joker. Madness.

Wore mascara only on the bike once, only to get a fly in the eye. Well I looked like Jodie marsh once I'd got off...so no make up for me - on the bike anyway.

I only wear eye stuff, can't be doing with foundation and blusher etc. Tis waterproof mascara anyway, seems to be fine on the bike.
If i do wear any, only eye make-up for me as i don't want the rest of the slap all in mi lid.:D
I very rarely wear make up and when I do, it is a very minimal amount. I hate applying all that muck onto my skin, then worrying about whether or not it's still in place. Not to mention having to take it all off at the end of the day!
Natural look all the way for me.

:smt064 Be nice!
That is nice - I'd have suggested a brick in a bin bag, along with her, and all three in the nearest river

I love my slap when I am going out, but then I am a big bad Goth, so it is kind of part of the whole thing.
As for on the bike, why bother when the rest of the gear is hardly feminine at the best of times, although if any one makes crash proof lace and silk corsets.....:smurfin:
