not too good:(
i think its too long and not loud enough......... but it was cheap, so will be on ebay as soon as i get another
or trim 6-10 inches off?
maybe............
but its titanium, and there is no rivets on it, so im not sure how its joined. plus, i would be a bit scared of not cutting it straight

theres an allen head bolt just inside the outlet which you undo, the end cap then comes off and the lot then falls apart.

Nice, I thought about a 954 Blade for my new bike (was same to insure & about the same power, etc) but a lot cheaper. Decided against it in the end but I do like them - what's the difference like compared to the old 900? Mind you having tried nothing larger than a 750, I don't really know if I can appreciate your description! But please try anyway ;)

its much better
its amazingly fast, and it seems to handle a lot better than the 918, its more comfertable to ride to, the 918 seemed big and heavy, and i was not that confident on bends.... i have only been out on it a few times, the brakes are $hit hot, did i mention it was quick....... oh, and i nearly did a sex wee just looking at it:mrgreen:

Sounds like the difference between my 2 bikes :D so I get where you're coming from. Though I think your 900 is better than my 600 ;)
Meh - I prefer my '98 Blade to ride, the 16" front wheel feels much sharper into the corners.
I also prefer the riding position - well, to be more accurate, the seating position. As soon as they got all pointy in design I felt that the actual placement of the rider got a bit left out of the equation. It's like you are perched ontop of the thing rather than being tucked in and a part of the overall machine...
... yeah - the brakes are sharp as hell, but with that position I felt like I was going to take a dive over the nose!
I actually noticed the weight more too - which as it's a lighter bike (I think) was wierd. Again, I think it was because I felt like I was riding on top of it and trying to control it from above - whereas with mine I feel I'm riding behind and level with the power and so feel like I'm able to guide it better.
But hey, I'm a shortarse, so maybe it's different for people who don't make even a 125 Varadero look like it's 1000cc bigger brother just by sitting on it!
