Just to get that clear, you would rather bet £10 that the OP survives the summer without any remedial training, than donate the same £10 towards getting him that remedial training right now?

Jesus, I'm glad I don't know him now! He must be a right tosser for you to be happy to treat him like that!

I watched some of the other videos he put up; he was particularly mature when it started to snow. If he was a danger, surley he;d be riding hell for leather, whatever the weather

He's not reckless, just incompetent and unaware of it. Reckless riding you can always shrug and say 'they asked for that, and they got it' when it goes wrong. People killing themselves purely through gross ignorance and lack of skills is less easy to shrug off.

What amazes me here is that you are able to make this judgment based on a few minutes of footage that he posted up, deliberately picking "poor riding" footage.

I have ridden with him, and didnt see ANYTHING that caused me to worry about his safety.

Also on that ride, and I suspect on other rides he has been on is one person who's opinion I would consider as valid, who has not seen fit to haul him aside and ream him a new one.

You have no idea the amount of time or miles he has put in to generate what is essentially a few issues, that I feel, he posted to get feedback on from his peers.

To everyone but kwh,

STOP FEEDING THE TROLL

I'm with KWH. I find this thread rather embarrassing for the .org, especially all the comments saying that the videos look fine.
I have no personal experience of the OP's riding, my comments are purely from the videos

Then, I feel, you really are A dicc Ted :)

He posted up saying the riding in the clip was cack, that he knew he was wrong.

This thread had been to rest for over a month and a half before Troll-boy dug it up again.

I say we let it go back to sleep.

kwh, I am in awe ...

I thought I had coming across as a e-condescending, e-know it all, e-total a-hole of a e-w4anker off pat ... you dude, seriously have made me feel very inadequate!!! ... I truly am :notworthy:

I don't know why you care so much for a total stranger to be so forthright about all this? ... I certainly don't*!! Surely you have 'better'/more important/close to home things to worry about?

*This is in NO WAY saying I want to see the OP (or anyone) get hurt/die in a bike related accident.

I'm pretty much at a loss for words.
But I'll try. After a 2nd read of the thread nowhere can I find the OP say that the riding in his first video was cack & that the whole point was to ask for advice. The only comment made was in the title recommending that people find a soft landing if they are going to f*** up (My take on it) KWH is the only person that has recommended that he should get some training (IMO a trackday is not the answer - just because you can grind your pegs on a trackday doesn't mean you can take a right hand bend on the road)
It is most unfortunate that the only person dishing out some decent advice was not an existing member so he is totally dismissed as a troll because he comes across as a bit off.
Then the thread falls into name calling and calls for it to be closed.
Just proves to all the guys on the Superbike forum that the .org is full of people that can't ride and nobody to give inexperienced riders some decent advice. :???:
Previously that was not my understanding of what the .org was all about.

This about how he said it, rather than what was said. Its is a well know fact that its not what you but how it is said. This guy came in as a newbie to forum, saying it all in the wrong way. Which is where it went wrong. That is my opionion though.

The fact is there are plenty of good people here who will help, you just have to ask.

Yes I think we have all seen enough off this and this thread should closed. The guy knows what he needs to do, we don't need anymore of this.

So is the riding in this more recent video from the OP - http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=1N69e2_-Ibg - likely to promote a long and pain free life?

Plus points:

1. He doesn't spear off the road into the scenery at any point during these 4 videos.

Minus points:

1. His head is over the white line on every right hander. It isn't going to stay on his shoulders long.

2. He dives for the gutter on every left hander. If there is an obstruction, he cannot see it coming because of his positioning restricting his view so much that he will inevitably hit it.

3. Not only is he restricting his view on left and right handers, he is restricting other road-users's view of him by hiding from them.

4. Because of his restricted view, especially on left handers, he is particularly badly placed to read the corners he is riding around, and because he does not appear to understand countersteering or how to use it to make instantaneous direction changes, he is always one corner away from spearing straight on into oncoming traffic on an unexpectedly tightening left hander. Or doing the 'straight into the scenery' thing again on right handers.

I could go on.

You see I really must be missing something that you all see & I can't
KWH's 1st post was "get some training" and some links
Blue replied I am sure you have the guys best interests at heart ... but reading some of the posts, meeeeeowwwwwwww :cat:  :D
You see it wasn't KWH's post that was catty but other people in other forums :???:
I thought this was a biking forum not an English lesson. & I thought SVRacer12 would be most sympathetic to the argument it's not HOW you say it but WHAT you say that's important on an internet forum.
